Pick and Pack Fulfillment

Three checkpoints between the shelf and the carrier, from one Fort Lauderdale building.

J.M. Field Marketing runs pick and pack fulfillment for B2B and B2C orders from our climate-controlled Fort Lauderdale warehouse. Every order is picked with barcode scan verification, packed with the right materials and carton size, and checked before it ships. Order status and inventory levels are visible in real time through the All In View client portal.

Warehouse worker scanning items during pick and pack fulfillment
Barcode Scan Verification
Every item is scanned against the order record before it goes into the carton, so the wrong SKU cannot leave the bench.
Batch, Wave and Single Order Picking
The picking method is matched to the order profile rather than forced, so small parcels and large multi line orders both move efficiently.
Right Sized Cartons and Dunnage
Cartons are chosen to fit the contents, with protective fill added where it is needed, so goods arrive undamaged and you do not pay to ship air.
Checked Before It Ships
A final quality check happens before the box is sealed in our climate controlled Fort Lauderdale warehouse, and we reship free if an order still goes out wrong.
How It Works

From the Dock to the Carrier, Checked Three Times

1

Received and Zoned

Inbound stock is verified against your purchase order, barcode-scanned and put away in the correct zone within 24 hours of arriving.

2

Scanned at the Pick

The scanner confirms the SKU and the quantity against the order before anything moves off the shelf.

3

Checked at Consolidation

A multi-line order is checked for completeness before it reaches the pack bench, so a short order never gets as far as a carton.

4

Carton Chosen to Fit

Cartons are matched to the contents, with dunnage from bubble wrap and paper fill through corrugated inserts and double-wall cartons for heavy items.

5

Final Quality Check

The packed shipment is compared against the order details one last time before the box is sealed and labeled.

6

Shipped and Visible

Live order status and inventory stay visible in All In View, so you are not asking where an order is.

Order Profiles

Order profiles we pick and pack

From single units to controlled lots, we match the pick and pack workflow to the order type.

Single item orders

Picked individually and packed without another order's SKU or paperwork on the bench at the same time.

Multi line orders

Gathered, checked for completeness and shipped under one record, so a customer receives everything ordered in a single box.

Bulk or case quantity orders

Picked as full cases or pallet quantities, counted, and staged for freight or parcel.

Serial or lot capture orders

Serial numbers or lot codes recorded during the pick, so traceability survives a recall, a warranty claim, or a customer asking which batch they received.

Fragile and high value orders

Heavier dunnage, and packaging chosen for the carrier and the route it will travel.

Climate sensitive orders

Stored, picked and packed inside the 50,000 sq ft climate-controlled facility from receipt through to carrier handoff.

Pack Bench Accuracy

Accuracy Built In at the Pack Bench

At J.M. Field Marketing, every order is checked at the pack bench with barcode scan verification, proper carton selection, and protective dunnage before sealing. A final quality check catches errors before the box leaves our climate controlled Fort Lauderdale warehouse, and if something still ships incorrectly we reship free and investigate the root cause.

Barcode scan verification

Every item is scanned against the order record at the pack bench to confirm the correct product and quantity before it is placed into the carton.

Right sized cartons

We choose cartons and dunnage that fit the contents snugly so products are protected and not damaged in transit during shipping from our climate controlled warehouse.

Quality check before sealing

A final inspection is performed before the box is sealed, and if an error still ships we reship free and investigate root cause.

Live status in All In View

Our client portal shows live order status and inventory updates so you can track progress from the pack bench to delivery.

When It Goes Wrong

Reshipped Free, and the Cause Investigated

Some orders go out wrong. What happens next is the part worth asking any fulfillment provider about. Here the order is reshipped at no charge and the root cause is investigated, so an error is treated as a signal about the process.

Live order status and inventory levels stay visible in All In View throughout, so a client does not have to ask where an order is or take an answer on trust.

Questions

Pick and Pack FAQ

What is pick and pack fulfillment?
Pick and pack fulfillment is the process of pulling the items for each order from inventory and packing them for shipment. It covers locating SKUs, verifying quantities, selecting cartons, adding dunnage and applying shipping labels. The goal is to send the right products, in the right condition, to the right address.
Do you provide pick and pack services in Fort Lauderdale?
Yes. Our pick and pack warehouse is in Fort Lauderdale at 3570 NW 53rd Ct, and we ship to regional South Florida accounts and national destinations. The facility is climate controlled, so temperature-sensitive products are handled safely from receipt through final packing.
How do you verify order accuracy?
We use barcode scan verification at the pick location and again during consolidation. The scanner confirms the SKU and quantity against the order before the items move to packing. A final quality check compares the packed shipment to the order details before it leaves the building.
What packing materials and carton sizes do you use?
We choose cartons that fit the contents closely to limit movement and reduce shipping costs. Dunnage options include bubble wrap, paper fill and corrugated inserts. Fragile items receive extra cushioning, and heavier items are placed in double-wall or reinforced cartons as needed.
What are your daily order cut-off times?
Cut-off times are set around carrier pickup schedules and are shared with each client during onboarding. Orders received before the cut-off are picked, packed and quality checked the same day. You can check live order status and tracking updates in All In View as shipments move out.
